Are you wanting to grow in your Spiritual journey?
Would you like to get to know others better? The River Church is committed to helping others grow in their faith and developing deeper connections with others. Our small groups are a great way to do this. We have groups for all ages and stages of life. They meet at different days and times to help provide an opportunity that can fit your schedule.

We are looking to grow our groups. If you are interested in joining a new group please contact Leslie Stone, our Director of Small Groups & Connections at leslie@hittheriver.com.

Ready to step into serving at The River?
We are looking for a few individuals who would be willing to be ushers on Sunday mornings. As an usher you will welcome people into the Worship center. You will help pass out bulletins, assist people in finding seating if needed, filling the communion tables and checking the worship area in between services. Upcoming Events at The River

June 3 - Ladies Summer Bible Study begins
All ladies of The River are invited to join our upcoming Ladies Bible Study called "Rest: from Eden to Eternity" on Tuesdays from 1:00 - 2:30 pm beginning June 3. Every one of us encounters and struggles with weariness and busyness. We all crave rest but we can find it difficult to have rest in a life full of work, schedules, and stress. Rest is a 6 week study that will trace the theme of rest from Genesis to Revelation and help you learn how to truly find rest in Jesus Christ. For questions, email margaret.s.layman@gmail.com. June 7 - Family Water Day
One of our favorite events of the summer is back this June 7 from 1-3 PM! Come on out to The River's parking lot for a giant water slide, plenty of places to splash around, some cold and sweet treats, and tons of fun! Family Water Day is the perfect, laid-back event to invite friends and family to join you at and introduce them to The River.

June 8 - Volunteer Appreciation Sunday
We couldn’t do what we do without the help of our amazing volunteer teams who serve in various ministries here at the River. On Sunday June 8, we will honor and show our appreciation to those who serve here.

June 21 - Serve Saturday
Come volunteer for a great cause! We are helping at the next Compassion Project Drive-Thru Food Distribution Event on June 21 from 9:00 - 11:30 am. We will be helping by filling boxes of food and handing out to the attendees. Meet at the Butler County Educational Services Center. (400 N. Erie Blvd. Hamilton) This is open to anyone school age and older. (Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult). There is a max number of volunteers that can help so you must sign up by going to HitTheRiver.com. Questions? Email Leslie@hittheriver.com.

Parents, mark your calendars for VBS 2025!
Summer will be here before we know it and we are looking for volunteers for Vacation Bible School 2025. We are going to have a fantastic week helping kids discover the bigness of God in the smallest of things! This week will be full of the most important stuff a kid could possibly learn, and we cannot accomplish this without you.

We will be meeting from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Garver's Family Market and discussing the book The Warsaw sisters by Amanda Barratt.

June 14 - Craft Day 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Grab your craft project and join us for some crafting fellowship! We meet at The River in the downstairs Connect class from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.

June 14 - Clay & Trap Shooting 1:00 am - 3:00 pm
This group meets at the Middletown Sportsman's Club at 6942 Michael Rd, Middletown, OH 45042. Contact Spencer Williamson at 513-460-5512 if you are interested in attending.
