Disappointment and discouragement…are two of satan’s greatest tools!
Disappointment and discouragement…are two of satan’s greatest tools!
Disappointment occurs when our expectations or hopes are unmet!
Discouragement is losing heart, confidence, and hope!
4 Then he went on alone into the wilderness, traveling all day. He sat down under a solitary broom tree and prayed that he might die. “I have had enough, Lord,” he said. “Take my life, for I am no better than my ancestors who have already died.”
Discouragement is a deep, spiritual battle that requires a renewal of hope, strength, and confidence in God!
1. Seasons of discouragement often follow seasons of victory!
Sometimes your greatest seasons of discouragement will come on the heels of your greatest victories!
2. The root of discouragement is…fear!
Fear distorts our perspective and magnifies our discouragement!
Discouragement thrives in isolation!

3.God meets us right where we are!
God took care of Elijah emotionally, spiritually, and physically!
God reassured Elijah, listened to his complaints, and gave him a Kingdom perspective!
Discouragement can distort Godly perspective.
God is loving and compassionate toward our disappointments and discouragements!
