PRAY FOR OUR MINISTRY PARTNERS
SUSAN CHONG SERVING STUDENTS FROM JAPAN
1. Praise God for the international students who are sharing the gospel with their friends on campus. Pray that the students will remain faithful while they are away from their familiar support network, for perseverance in their Christian faith, for protection from discouragement when they are rejected because of their faith and for the ability to overcome cultural and language barriers.
2. Pray for pastors in Japan as they have few peers and have few opportunities to fellowship with other Christian workers.
3. Praise the Lord that Megumi could hear the gospel and read the bible while in Sydney. Please pray for working holiday visa holders like Megumi - God’s word that has gone out would not return empty even though opportunities to continue to share the Word are limited.
4. Pray that God will grant favour with students and people He brings in my path, that I will know how to build relationships well, be diligent in bringing the gospel into conversations and be encouraging to students to hold on to their faith when they return home.
5. That I will teach patiently and teach with grace to all students, especially those who remain disengaged.
