Give Online

The Bible teaches us to give the first 10% of our income to the "storehouse." God says we can test Him by doing this and watching Him take care of us in return. This may sound like a stretch to you! Just take a step toward toward that goal. If you currently give nothing, start giving something. If you give something, try increasing it a step toward the 10% goal. Trust God! Give Him your first before anything else by setting up a recurring, automated donation online. You will then receive quarterly updates about how your giving is making a difference and how your donations are being used.

Bottom Line: The question isn't am I called but what am I called to?
I am called to salvation.
I am called to sanctification.
I am called to service.
The question isn't am I called but what am I called to?
START TALKING:
This week, we explored what it truly means to be called. The focus wasn't whether we're called—but what we’re called to: salvation, sanctification, and service. Paul reminds us in Ephesians 4:1 to “live a life worthy of the calling you have received.” That calling shapes our identity and our mission.

- When was a time you clearly sensed God calling you to something deeper—whether salvation, growth, or action?
- Who in your life needs to be reminded that they have a calling from God, too?
START THINKING:

Read Ephesians 4:1 Paul urges believers to live worthy of their calling.
1. What do you think it means to live a life "worthy" of God's calling?
2. Why do you think Paul emphasizes this while writing from prison?

Read Ephesians 4:2-6 Our calling is connected to how we live with others in unity, humility, and love.
1. Which of these traits—humility, gentleness, patience, unity—feels hardest for you to walk in consistently?
2. How does living out these traits reflect God's character to the world?

START SHARING:
"I am called to salvation" – Ephesians 4:1
1. When did you first recognize that God was calling you into a relationship with Him?
2. How has your understanding of salvation deepened over time?

"I am called to sanctification" – Ephesians 4:2-6
1. In what ways is God currently shaping your character or convicting you to grow?
2. How have relationships helped (or challenged) your journey of becoming more like Christ?

"I am called to service" – Romans 12:1 (bonus passage)
1. What spiritual gifts or passions has God given you to serve others?
2. Where do you sense God calling you to make an impact right now?
START DOING:
- What’s one specific way you can walk worthy of your calling this week—in your relationships, workplace, or family?

- How can you serve someone intentionally this week, even if it feels inconvenient?

- Who around you is watching how you live—and how might your faith be drawing them closer to Jesus?
START PRAYING:
Spend time praying over the three "callings" discussed in the sermon:

Salvation: Thank God for calling you into a personal relationship with Him. Pray for anyone in your life still seeking Jesus.

Sanctification: Ask God to grow His character in you—especially in areas like patience, humility, and love.

Service: Pray for opportunities and boldness to serve others with joy and compassion.

Also, pray: For clarity in your calling and courage to walk in it.
That your life would reflect the unity and love described in Ephesians 4.

For the strength to live for something greater than yourself.

Take a Next Step!

Don't just attend church for an hour a week. Take a step! What step should you take?
1. Follow Jesus! If you have followed Jesus...
2. Get baptized! If you are following Jesus, then that's all you need to be "ready" to take this step.
3. Volunteer! Don't simply be a consumer, but be part of making a difference in the lives of those who come to OneLife to experience Jesus. There are weekday and Sunday opportunities. Get info about what opportunities there are for you!
4. Join a micro church! You can't have true community sitting in rows with a large crowd. That's not the church - it's an event! Micro churches are small "churches" of 10-12 adults that meet in homes throughout the week to learn together, pray together, serve the community together, and care for each other together.
Get more information about any of the above, send us your prayer requests so we can pray with you, or ask any question we can help you with by filling out the online connection card!
