Preparation Question: As Jesus asked the blind men in Matthew 20:32, what do you really want/need Him to do for you?
Four spiritual lessons from two blind men:
1. Appropriate Reality (v. 30) – “have mercy on us”

2. Appropriate Reaction (v. 31) – “they cried out all the more”
3. Appropriate Request (v. 33) – “let our eyes be opened”
4. Appropriate Response (v. 34) – “immediately they recovered their sight and followed him”
Response Questions
1. How can the two truths of our own sinfulness and our great worth both be true?
2. What is the deeper spiritual lesson/meaning in the two men's initial blindness and in Jesus giving them the ability to see?
3. Why is it crucial for us to determine Jesus' true identity before we ask Him or look to Him for anything?
4. Is it wrong to ask Jesus for what we want? What is the difference between "want" and "need"?
5. Do you trust Jesus enough to simply ask Him for what you need, and will you, each day this week, ask for the specific need of someone else in need?
