The Big Idea: When I have Jesus, I lack nothing.
Three Reasons The Good News Is So Good:
1. Jesus loves idiots
- Why do we look for the living among the dead?
- He is not here. He is risen. Remember how He told you?

2. Jesus enters every story
Let’s let Matthew and Mark add more details:

Check out the cast of characters:
Mary Magdalene
A prostitute whom Jesus cleansed of seven demons. She financially aided him in Galilee, and washed his feet with her hair. She was one of the witnesses of the Crucifixion and burial of Jesus and, famously, was the first person to see him after the Resurrection. She was an Apostle to the Apostles (a "sent one")

Joanna
Salome
Wife of Zebedee, mother of James and John.

Peter
What a story of betrayal, restoration, and power.

3. Jesus is the first answer to every problem.
“Who will remove the stone for us?”
He is also the first answer to the problems you don’t even know that you have. - “The guards became like dead men”
Response:
- Ask Jesus to enter your idiot story

OPENER QUESTION:
Pick one of your favorite childhood memories and tell us about it.
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
1. What are your Easter traditions, past or present?
2. Psalm 23:1 “The LORD is my Shepherd. I lack nothing.” What comes to mind as you read this verse?
3. How would you describe what Jesus does for you on a regular basis, that makes your life better?
4. Jesus loves idiots. (Unschooled and ordinary people).
The disciples fled when Jesus was arrested. They did not anticipate the resurrection on Sunday, even though the Pharisees did (and had guards placed at the tomb). They locked themselves behind closed doors in fear. How would you describe your idiot story?
5. Jesus enters into every story. Peter denied Jesus and was humiliated and ashamed. Mary Magdalene was a sex worker and had 7 demons. Joanna was the wife of a Roman official and had been healed of demons or disease. Salome asked Jesus if her sons could sit on thrones on his right and his left in the Kingdom. How does all this make you feel about Jesus entering your story?
6. Do you agree that Jesus is the first answer to every problem that you face? Why or why not?
7. Tell us about a problem you face and how Jesus can be the first answer to that problem.
8. What did you think about Kealan’s My Story Video? You can watch it here if you didn’t see it.
9. Have you had any battles with anxiety, despair, or the like? How can Jesus help you?
10. John 4:13-14
“Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.””
How real is this in your experience? How would you encourage someone to experience it more fully?
11. Pray for one another.
