The Seventh Day, the Sabbath, is God’s SPECIAL DAY given to humans for our SATISFACTION.
1) Why is the Sabbath Day special?
- V5 “…there was evening, there was morning—the first day.”
- V8 “…there was evening, there was morning—the second day.”
- V13 “…there was evening, there was morning—the third day.”
- V19 “…there was evening, there was morning—the fourth day.”
- V23 “…there was evening, there was morning—the fifth day.”
- V31 “…there was evening, there was morning—the sixth day.”
- V8 “…there was evening, there was morning—the second day.”

The original design of the sabbath was for all of creation to REST in the RULE and REIGN of their Cosmic King.
2) How do we observe the Sabbath?
R.E.S.T.

R—Rest (Renew) the Body Holistically.
E—Enjoy Creation Recreationally and Relationally.
S—Seek the Lord Spiritually and Corporately.
T—Tell Others of our King Missionally.
3) When do we Sabbath?

1. Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath
2. Jesus is the Ultimate Sabbath Rest
3. Jesus Instituted a New Covenant

5. The Church Gathered on the Lord’s Day, First Day of the Week
6. There is NO Specific Commandment in the New Testament to Continue Observing the Sabbath on Saturday.
You are at liberty to practice the Sabbath Principle on any day you want.

4) What happens if we don’t Sabbath?
