Blessed when persecuted?

Persecuted for righteous living and for standing up for Christ.

Persecution didn't start with Jesus, it started in the Old Testament.

Persecution didn't start with Jesus it started with God's messengers and Gods people.

Then Jesus and the apostles and continuing for today.

It's debatable but most believe that Peter was also crucified.
In fact all the apostles were all killed besides John.

Our faith has been passed down through the blood of the martyrs who've gone before us.

Persecution happening today.

The rapid spread of Islamist ideology, oppression and violence in Africa has become one of the most important stories of our time. Millions of our Christian brothers and sisters in Africa have suffered greatly, including tens of thousands who have been driven from their homes while watching their possessions and livelihoods disappear amid the Islamist dream of a global caliphate. The Fulani, an African people group composed largely of migrant herdsmen, have come to be viewed as infamous villains within this larger story. Islamists among them have carried out an extended campaign of kidnapping and butchery across several nations with significant Christian populations.

These are our brothers and sisters, these are KINGDOM PEOPLE who have surrendered all for the sake of the kingdom.Let us not forget the great price people are paying with their lives..

Here's the good news…There are special blessings and reward for those who go through persecution.

This is on of many reasons why politics and borders matter. We need to protect our religious freedoms and protect our country from terrorism. These radical Islamist hate America.

Most of us are not going to be crucified or killed But we can definitely expect to be criticised and mocked for our devotion to Jesus. Living for Christ is not popular with the world.

RT Kendal say " I'd rather be popular in Heaven than famous in hell."

Truly going after God with everything you have can sometimes cause criticism even inside the church.

Don't be surprised when people start to attack you when you start to grow up and mature beyond them. Don't let pride in either on your journey.

With all of heaven watching, lets surrender all to him no mater the cost!!
