Home Group/Study Questions
These questions are provided for your further study and application of today’s sermon. Thoughtfully writing out the answers to these questions will help to drive home the truths we are learning.

1. Was there any passage of scripture or statement in the message today that was particularly meaningful or applicable to you?

2. List the four people in your life that you would consider closest to your heart. Describe the depth of your compassion for those four people and the frequency of your thoughts about them.

3. Read Matthew 9:36-38. Who are some of the people you think Christ may be wanting you to include in your “inner circle” of concern? What are some of the specific ways you can use your gifts to begin to minister to them?

4. Every Sunday, we announce events designed to broaden our connections and deepen our concerns for one another. How can your involvement in these ministry opportunities be adjusted, enhanced, or augmented to impact more people?

5. Read Philippians 1:7-8. Make a “to do” list of specific things you will do this week to check in, check up, and reach out to the individuals God is “adding to your heart.”
