Legalism is the religion of human achievement. It is the religion that says, I will earn my way to God. It is a works-based salvation.

Approach number one: Human achievement.
Approach number two: Divine accomplishment.

Diets and Days.

1. Our bodies physically wear down.
2. Our minds emotionally wear down – we get stressed!
3. It’s harder to love people.
4. We struggle with community because community takes time.

1. Get away and get alone.
2. Throw away our “to do” lists for at least a day.
3. Take a fast from social media for a day.
4. Know yourself: When it comes to you what works best in finding rest in Jesus?

One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind. Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord…

Do you know what’s better than angels and visions and feelings? Jesus. You have the Head. You have the final authority in the world and it’s found in God’s Word!
