Home Group/Study Questions
These questions are provided for your further study and application of today’s sermon. Thoughtfully writing out the answers to these questions will help to drive home the truths we are learning.
1. Was there any passage of scripture or statement in the message today that was particularly meaningful or applicable to you?
2. In what ways is God using you to build his church? In other words, how has God worked through you in some area of ministry despite your lack of “natural abilities” in that area?
3. Read Exodus 4:10-12. Like Moses, what excuses have you made regarding your own inadequacies, when it comes to serving the body of Christ?
4. Read James 3:13-18. What are some of the distinctions that could be seen between doing the kind of ministry you do with human wisdom versus God’s wisdom? In what way could pride be a temptation in doing the kind of ministry you do?
5. Read Psalm 33:16-18. In what subtle ways have you diverted some of your trust from God to you?
Write out a prayer that asks God for his endurance and strength in doing what you do to build up the body of Christ.

Giving Online
Giving cheerfully and sacrificially of our finances is part of our worship. (2 Corinthians 9:7; Proverbs 3:9; Malachi 3:10)
We thank those who have helped us fulfill our mission and vision, and we ask you to pray that all of the giving to West End Baptist Church would be used to glorify God in carrying out His will as Scripture instructs and the Holy Spirit leads.
