The beatitudes describe the true character of the kingdom of God and what it means to be a citizen of this kingdom.

Blessing on unexpected people, the poor, those who mourn, the meek and the hungry and thirsty.__

There's a longing for righteousness or right relating to God and his ways of living.

You are an instrument of righteousness!!

Sin is no longer your master!!

I used to long to sin now I long for him!

Jesus is calling us to a passionate pursuit of righteousness living before him and a lost world.

His grace empowers us to say no to sin, it's not a license to continue to live in it!
He gave himself up for us to get a people for his own possession eager to do what is good!!
We’re a people eager to what is right!!

Following Christ does not start with your actions, it starts with your desire!
God changes your desires!!

Then theres the promise of being satisfied!!!!

Living for yourself doing what makes your flesh feel good will never satisfy you!!
After Christ, sin doesn't feel the same! It doesn't make me feel the way it used to!!
A life of obedience to God's commands is the best life!!

Set yourself up for success!

What are you chasing after?

Stay at his feet, stay in the word, stay in community in the church!!
