Spirit of divination (πνεῦμα Πύθωνα). Lit., a spirit, a Python.

physician, a Python-spirit, presenting phenomena
identical with the convulsive movements and wild cries

The Most High God (του θεου του ὑψιστου [tou theou tou
hupsistou]). Pagan inscriptions use this language for the

The way of salvation (ὁδον σωτηριας [hodon sōtērias]). A
way of salvation, strictly speaking (no article). There were
many “ways of salvation” offered to men then as now.

Jesus is THE way to be saved not A way to be saved.
