Secret to Hearing God: Spend time with Him/ Daily Encounter
Those that are in the presence of God hear Him the most!
The more you daily encounter the more you hear God!
Practical Advice: If you want to hear God, be faithful in church and daily encounter!
Warning: It’s difficult to hear God when you’re in sin!
Secret To Hearing God: Talk to Him
“Speak Lord, your servant is listening" is starting a conversation with God!
If you want to hear God, talk to Him!
Practical Advice: Pray “Speak Lord, your servant is listening” everyday!

Caution: Don’t forget to ask the Lord about it!
3 Voices to Recognize
1. Your voice
Insecurity is I don’t know who God is and who I am in God, and so I have to create a version of myself other people will admire.
2. The enemy’s voice
Practical Advice: When you hear the voice of the accuser, tell it to go!
Question: How many have heard the enemy’s voice?
3. God’s voice
The #1 reason people struggle with hearing God is because they don’t know the Holy Spirit!
Question: What does God sound like?
Practical Advice on Hearing God
1. Give Him your attention
If God has your attention, you will hear His voice!
2. Be ready for His disruption
3. Be humble about it
When God speaks to you submit it in humility! Don’t tell people, “God said, or God told me.” Say “I feel in my heart/spirit.”
Caution: Saying “God said” when God didn’t say is using theLord’s name in vain!
