And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock.
Proverbs 22:3 - A prudent person with insight foresees danger coming and prepares himself. But the senseless rush blindly forward and suffer the consequences.
Hebrews 6:18-19 - God can't break His Word, for His Word will not change and His promises are sure and steadfast. For His Word is an unbreakable Anchor - And so I have anchored to His Eternal Word which provides me a sure foundation in stormy times.
Proverbs 10:25 - When the storms come the righteous have an everlasting anchor.
Isaiah 43:1-2 - Do not fear for I am with you. When you pass through the waters they will not overflow you and through the rivers you will not drowned and when you pass through the fire you will not be consumed.
Proverbs 3:25-26 - Do not be fearful of sudden storms for the Lord will be your Anchor in your journey.
Psalms 91:1-5 - The one who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will abide under the protective shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord: You are my Refuge, my Fortress, my God in whom I have anchored. You will rescue me from every hidden trap of the enemy and protect me from any deadly curse. You will cover me with your mighty arms and under Your Presence I take refuge. Your faithfulness is my shield. I will not be afraid of the terrors at night or the evil that flies by day.
Romans 8:35, 37-39 - Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?...But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
2 Corinthians 12:9 - My Grace is sufficient for you....

Hebrews 10:25 - This is not the time to pull away and neglect meeting together, as some have formed the habit of doing. In fact, we should come together even more frequently, eager to encourage and urge each other onward as we anticipate that day dawning.
Mark 6:45-51 - Immediately Jesus made His disciples get into the boat and go ahead of Him to the other side to Bethsaida, while He Himself was sending the crowd away. After bidding them farewell, He left for the mountain to pray. When it was evening, the boat was in the middle of the sea, and He was alone on the land. Seeing them straining at the oars, for the wind was against them, at about the fourth watch of the night He came to them, walking on the sea; and He intended to pass by them. But when they saw Him walking on the sea, they supposed that it was a ghost, and cried out; for they all saw Him and were terrified.
