Jesus is LIFE! (Col. 3:1-11)
Since Jesus is life and you are in Christ then discard the death clothes and generously put on the clothes God gave you when He gave you life: (Col. 3:12-14)
1. Compassionate hearts (mercies)
2. Kindness Ephesians 2:4-7
3. Humility Romans 12:3
4. Meekness
5. Long-Suffering/Patience
6. Forbearance
7. Forgiveness (according to the measure it has been given by God)
8. Love
Let the peace of God rule your heart into gratitude (v. 15) and let the Word of God lavishly live your daily life (v. 16). (Col. 3:15-17)
Make yourself at home in the Word.
Get to know the home of the Word. (Explore Teaching)
Get to know the people living in the Word. (Admonishing one another in wisdom)
Sing truth to yourself, to one another, and together. (Singing Psalms, Hymns, and Spiritual Songs.)
Make gratitude the attitude of your heart.
Joyfully follow God’s instructions in every relationship and role of life. (Col. 3:18-4:1)
