Angels message:

You are going to be a part of the Savior's arrival.
(Luke 1:5-7 NLT) When Herod was king of Judea, there was a Jewish priest named Zechariah. ... and his wife, Elizabeth, was also from the priestly line of Aaron. Zechariah and Elizabeth were righteous in God's eyes, careful to obey all of the Lord's commandments and regulations. They had no children because Elizabeth was unable to conceive, and they were both very old.
(Luke 1:18 NLT) Zechariah said to the angel, "How can I be sure this will happen? I'm an old man now, and my wife is also well along in years."

• God's purpose might be different than our plans.
(Matthew 21:21 NLT) Then Jesus told them, "I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don't doubt, you can do things like this and much more. ...

(Matthew 1:18-20 NLT) ... Joseph, her fiancé, was a good man and did not want to disgrace her publicly, so he decided to break the engagement quietly. As he considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream. "Joseph, son of David," the angel said, "do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife. For the child within her was conceived by the Holy Spirit.

(Matthew 1:24 NLT) When Joseph woke up, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded and took Mary as his wife.
(Luke 1:28-29 NLT) Gabriel appeared to her and said, "Greetings, favored woman! The Lord is with you!" Confused and disturbed, Mary tried to think what the angel could mean

• God's interruptions are often inconvenient.
(Luke 1:30 NLT) "Don't be afraid, Mary," the angel told her, ...

(Luke 1:38 NLT) Mary responded, "I am the Lord's servant. May everything you have said about me come true." And then the angel left her.

(Luke 2:9-10 NLT) Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared among them, and the radiance of the Lord's glory surrounded them. They were terrified, but the angel reassured them. "Don't be afraid!" he said. "I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people.

(Luke 2:12 NLT) And you will recognize him by this sign: You will find a baby wrapped snugly in strips of cloth, lying in a manger."
• What we call interruptions God calls an invitation.
(Luke 1:30 NLT) ... the angel told her, "for you have found favor with God!

(Matthew 28:19, 20 NLT) Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. ... ... obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
• The outcome is God's responsibility, obedience is yours!
