As we continue to center ourselves we look at hope. Hope is a common theme in our culture from movies like Star Wars to decisions like elections, hope is seen as important. But what we hope in is important. Culture sees hope is important but often places it on people or ideas that are not rooted in God. Join this week's Sunday service as our Senior Minister Chris Bacus talks about having "A Heart of Hope."

Below are some of our upcoming events that we would like you to know about.
Come to the Next Ladies' Event
Join us for a Christmas Cookie Decorating Party with Gift Exchange and Brunch
December 7, 11:00am - 1:00pm
For our next event, the women of Anchor will start by decorating gingerbread cookies here for ACC's Christmas Musical receptions. All cutouts and decorating supplies will be provided.
After decorating the cookies, we'll move into Phase Two of the day: a Christmas party with a small gift exchange. Please bring a Christmas Gingerbread theme gift ($15.00 limit).
We'll also enjoy a delicious brunch provided by us. Please sign up to let us know you are coming and what you are bringing. You'll find the sign-up sheet in the Lobby.
Seniors to Visit Chili's New Fire Department
On Saturday, November 23 at 10:00am, Anchor's Senior Adult Group will meet at the Chili Fire Department, 3225 Chili Avenue. Our visit will include a discussion on fire safety, prevention, and protection as well as a tour of Chili's newly built firehouse.
Please bring doughnuts or your favorite treat to share. Coffee will be provided. You'll find a signup sheet in the Lobby for this event. We hope to see all of you who are 50 and older there, and remember that your friends are welcome to join, too!
