Suffering for Doing Good

Suffering for Doing Good

While God expects Christians to love others and do good to all, which will usually lead to a good life, Peter understands that there will always be exceptions. Sometimes Christians will be opposed, ridiculed, or outright persecuted for doing good. Let’s consider five ways Christians are to respond to suffering for doing good in a hostile world. --- Life is full of challenges, yet as Christians we are called to live holy lives, reflecting God's character in every part of life. While enduring suffering and hardship is never easy, Jesus, our living hope, gives hope in difficult times. Throughout the letter of 1 Peter, we are reminded of the transformative power of God's amazing grace, the need to endure trials with patience, and the importance of trusting God by living in obedience to His word.
