Do we _____________________ God’s grace, compassion, and love for ___________________________?
It’s not our job to ______________________ who’s in. It’s our job to ________________________ people in.(Ephesians 2:13-20)
Is it _________________________ for us to be _________________________?

Go Deeper:
1. We’re in the second to last week of the Jonah series. Which week so far has stood out to you the most? Why? What has been your biggest takeaway from the series so far?
2. Read Jonah 4:5. Why does it say Jonah went and sat down? What outcome do you think he was hoping for? Does that surprise you? Why or why not? Now read Jonah 4:1-4. What do you think about Jonah’s overall attitude? Does it surprise you? Why or why not?
3. What do these verses teach us about the difference between God and man? Why do you think that the writer of Jonah included this section of verses? What is your biggest takeaway from Jonah’s interaction with God?
4. Think about the first question we were told to ask ourselves. Be honest, how did you answer it? How does that make you feel? Do you think it’s important for us to address this issue and these feelings in us? Why or why not?
5. This could be a hard conversation but it’s worth having. Have you ever felt like you weren’t invited or included in the church because of your past or the way you look or think? How did that make you feel? On the other side of that, have you ever written someone off or excluded them from the church? Why? How does that make you feel?
6. Read Ephesians 2:13-20. Why do you think Paul wrote this to the church in Ephesus? What truth is being communicated to us through his writing in Ephesians? What do you think about the idea that we’re not called to decide who’s in but rather to just invite people in? What has that looked like in your own life? How can you best live out that call? Who is God putting on your heart right now to invite?
7. Think about the Parable of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32). Have you heard this story before? What application have you taken from the story before? Does the way we talked about it on Sunday change the way you think about it? If so, how? Which son do you relate with most? How does that make you feel?
