Sermon - "A Revelation in a Moment"
A Revelation in a Moment We believe in the process of sanctification. Some things take time in the spiritual journey. However, that does not negate God's ability to do amazing things in a singular moment of time. I am praying that many will find a place of renewal, freedom and calling in a moment of prayer today. May we all surrender to the plans God has for us.

The 'Build-up' to the Moment:
A. Earthquakes are created by tectonic plates colliding and building pressure until something breaks...and everything changes!
B. Saul - mean - bold - zealous for Judaism. Putting believers in Christ to death.
C. Saul was in the press and pressure of two, opposite moving 'spiritual' tectonic plates.
D. Spiritual Pressures:
* Good / Evil
* Pain (grief) / Relief
* Addiction / Freedom
* Expectation of others / One's Inability
E. I am believing for a SOULQUAKE today!

The Saul to Paul Conversion:
A. Saul was mean and complicit in the deaths of Christians; likely on his way to kill the very man that would lead him in salvation and faith in Jesus.
B. The Pressures:
* Judaism - you have to fulfill all the law; saved by your works; never enough
* Christianity - faith in Jesus and His work alone; empowered by the Holy Spirit
C. v.6 Saul's Soulquake; his revelation moment.
* Saul was 'Zapped!'
* Revelation is hard - painful - blinding!
* Deliverance begins with a changed mind. The dependency mentality (on religion, meth, alcohol) has to first be broken in the mind! Actions follow!

A. 'God Is Bigger Than This' - Moment
* The yoke of bondage to addiction can be broken bc God is greater!
B. 'I'm Better Than This' - Moment
* besetting/ensnaring sins / aka generational curses
* Cursed with:
** Attitudes
** Bitterness
** The Quits
** Insanity of sin - anger, lust,
* Like the Prodical Son - you can say, "I am better than this slop!"
C. 'His Call is Greater Than My Plans' - Moment
* 'Fish or Cut Bait'
* The place of indecision is terrible!
A. 'God Is Bigger Than This' - Moment

* He surrendered to God - "Not my will, but Thy will be done!"
* If you feel the call of God...today could be the soul quake that causes someone to say, "Lord I will spend my life working for You...no matter what it costs me."
* God calls busy people...the call feels like a deep yearning, tears for the lost,
* Jesus felt the fractures of the faultline between being human and divine.
