The Blessing of Proximity
Joseph - imprisoned in Egypt. Tells interpretation of dream to butler/baker and it comes to pass. When cupbearer (butler) is restored he tells Phaorah of Joseph at a critical time. Joseph interprets Pharoah's dream...which winds up saving the world!
Pharoah was blessed bc of proximity to cupbearer...who was blessed because of proximity to Joseph.

The church is the entity holding back the darkness...keeping at bay the Antichrist!
We are the preserving agent of the world! Salt is a preserving agent - "...you are the salt of the earth!"

B. Your Family is Blessed Because of You
* God loves family and wants to bless families. This is why the spiritual battle is often around family, children, marriage, etc.

Sanctified - 'Hegiazo' = "to make clean/holy"
God's blessing will flow into a home because of one righteous person.
The power of the holy one is stronger than the power of the evil one!

C. Individuals Are Blessed Because of You:
Ruth is known for her pursuit of blessing as she followed her widowed mother-in-law, Naomi. Orpha went back to Moab...Ruth followed.

* Ruth and Boaz had a son - Obed, who had a son - Jesse, who had a son - David...whose offspring is the Lord, Jesus Christ!!!
* If we will be faithful - Jesus will show up in our lineage.

Commitment to following is key.
The Blessed Man of Psalm 1 is 'Planted' like a tree.
The tree rings show years of drought, of rain, of fire, etc. But it remained planted and nourished - providing blessing through it all!
There is a residual blessing that comes layer upon layer over time.
Abraham - everywhere you walk...will be blessed!
