Introduction:
The month of October is a month of special focus to prayer. We have elections coming up. We also have to deal with the warfare that comes with the most important month in the Satanic calendar and which culminates on October 31 but even into early November. So the Lord has called us to a solemn assembly where people are taught how to do warfare in a way that secures victory. That is why on October 25-27 we are invited everyone to fast for 42 hours and pray for our nation, in relation to the election, but more importantly, for the soul of our nation, which has been in decadence.

So I want to speak to you about the importance of the coupling of faith and actions and the natural and supernatural working in tandem. To do so, we will look at this passage in Exodus 17. It occurs shortly after the Israelites left Egypt and cross the Red Sea. They are on their trek towards the promised land.
