The topic of money is deeply personal and not one that we often like talking about. But since Jesus spent so much time talking about it, so should we! That is why we are kicking off our series on money called "Count on It".

Here are some examples of common money issues. How do each of these viewpoints impact the way we view our money?
- Having more than you need

- A scarcity mindset
- A "me" mindset

Ice Breaker: The Truth is, we all have money issues. Why are we so reluctant to discuss them?

Read Psalm 24:1. The word "everything" is all-encompassing. How does this relate to our money and how we should be managing it?

Pastor Jonathan said, "Everything belongs to, comes from, and is distributed by God." How is this clearly illustrated in 1 Chronicles 29:10-16? What does this mean for you personally?

Read Luke 12:48. When it comes to money, we are Stewards, not Owners. Pastor Jonathan summed it up like this: "Our money issues may find clarity with Stewardship". How does this perspective shift change the way you view your finances?

What will you do with what you've been given? Take time and pray to our Heavenly Father. Ask Him to help direct you in ways to be a good steward with what you have been given.
