1. OUR FAITH STORY IS OURS TO TELL & OUR VENUE IS WHEREVER HE HAS US.

Matthew 5:13-16...
13 “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet. 14 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
"The most effective way of communicating the work of Jesus in someone’s life is by the evidence of transformation of that life, either through actions and lifestyle, or in telling of that transformation in words. The sharing of one’s life story is the most effective way to share the transforming power & salvation offered through Jesus Christ.” - Excerpt from Rooted
2. OUR FAITH STORY OPENS THE DOOR TO SHARE GOD’S STORY OF SALVATION.

Matthew 28:18-20...
18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
3. OUR FAITH STORY MUST BE FOLLOWED-UP BY & FOLLOWED THROUGH WITH LOVE.

Matthew 5:43-48...
43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? 47 And if you greet only your brothers,[a]what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? 48 You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
4. SHARING JESUS IS ONE OF THE BEST PROOF TESTS OF OUR FAITH.

PROOF TESTS your FRUIT…
Matthew 7:17-20...
17 So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. 18 A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.

PROOF TESTS your FUTURE…
Matthew 7:21-23...
21“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to Me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and cast out demons in Your name, and do many mighty works in Your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness.’

PROOF TESTS your FOUNDATION…
Matthew 7:24-27...
24 “Everyone then who hears these words of Mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. 26 And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. 27 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.”
