Series Overview
During the month of July, we will focus on ordinary, imperfect women who allowed God to work in their lives to achieve His purposes in the world: SHEroes: Ordinary Women. Extraordinary Faith. These women were not special, but they became Sheros for us simply because they decided to trust God with their lives. What these women learned is that even when they made poor decisions, God could still work through those choices.

Sermon Overview
The SHEroe we will explore this Sunday is Mary Magdelene. We will see that she was radically transformed by God's grace, becoming a woman of strong faith. An honorable woman whose claim to fame was that she was one of the first to see the Risen Christ. However, whispers of her alleged past actions constantly dogged her all through her life and throughout church history. Her perseverance and dedication to God’s call on her life, in spite of the rumors, is a lesson of faith we can all admire and live out.
