This week's "Mission Critical" discussion was inspired by a conversation between Jesus and Nicodemus. To begin, read John 3:1-18.

Jesus tells Nicodemus, "Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit"? What does this mean and how does this apply to our lives in 2024?

Pastor Jonathan reminds us that the "Mission" is bigger than getting into Heaven. It's about "Participation in the Kingdom of God", right here, right now. Since Jesus tells us the Kingdom of God is here among us, what are some ways that we can begin serving His right now?

To be born again means to "be born from above". It is a kind of spiritual rebirth that is achieved through Jesus. Pastor Jonathan shares with us that being born again is both a "decision and an ongoing process". How can it be both of these things simultaneously?

God is doing something new through Jesus, and doing something new in you. We're a new creation! Why is this "Mission Critical"? Read 2 Cor. 5:17 (NIV)
