Love is the evidence of a life lived in the Gospel

To Live out the Gospel well in our homes, our attention must move from addressing behavior to making connection.

1. Practice Trust

Trust is the currency of relationships. We choose whether we will practice trust or suspicion.
By definition love always trusts and keeps no record of wrongs.

2. Practice Forgiveness
Whatever you believe about God as your Father, will be exhibited in your parenting.

What do I believe about God as my Father? How does that inform how I treat my parents? How does that inform how I parent?

Sabbath was made for us to be restored, refreshed, and to reflect.

Rabbinic proverb sabbath: "If you labor in the mind all week, rest with activity for your body. If you labor in your body all week, rest with activity for your mind."

4. Practice Prayer:
Confess:
Lord, I am not seeing _______ with your eyes of love right now.
Ask:
Would you give me your eyes to see and your ears to see how to love them? Father, what do you say about______? Father, how do you see______?Father, how can I love them well?

Pray Scripture:
May you grow in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man.
May you be blessed when you come in and when you go out.
May the Lord enlarge your influence and territory.
May you be strong and courageous.
May you trust that the Lord is with you wherever you go.
May you trust the Lord with all your heart and not lean on your own understanding.
May you acknowledge the Lord and keep his ways all the days of your life. May you be a mighty woman of honor and integrity.
May you be a leader among leaders.
May you the Lord give you spiritual wisdom and understanding.
May you be kept from all evil and harm.
May no weapon formed against you prosper.
May your life produce every kind of good fruit.
May you receive complete knowledge of the Father’s will.
May you be strengthened with his glorious power.
May you have all the endurance and patience you need.
May you be filled with joy and peace.
May you love the Lord your God with all your heart, your soul and your mind.
May you love your neighbor as yourself.
May you put childish things away as you grow in maturity.
May your roots grow down into Christ and your lives be built on him.
May your faith grow strong in the truth.
May you overflow with thankfulness.
