Lust wants to go outside GOD'S GUIDELINES to find SATISFACTION.
Lust is seeing someone as an OBJECT rather than a PERSON.
Lust always starts in the MIND before it becomes an ACTION.
Lust is NEVER SATISFIED.

LEADERS: This may be a good week for co-ed groups to discuss within gender groups. If your group participated in Rooted, consider reading the Week 5 devotions in the week ahead.
1. Read aloud Proverbs 27:20. Take a moment to read the passage again in silence, reflect, and write one observation.
2. What does this passage teach us about God and people?
3. What scriptures help you understand the text? (i.e., Proverbs 7, Ephesians 5:1-17, Philippians 4:8, 2 Timothy 2:22)
4. What resonated most from Trevor's message? Why so?
5. Share what helps you personally deal with lust.
6. Write down what God is impressing upon you to do in response to the passage or discussion. Reach out to another group member for support as needed.
