Just One Touch

Introduction:

God can use a single person, living their purpose, to profoundly impact others, an environment, health and even life.

"I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you." - Psalm 32:8 NIV

God's plan for us is far greater than any plans we have for ourselves -

Jeremiah 29: 11 AMP: For I know the plans I have for you, Declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Gods purpose is for us to have unique gifts and talents in:

Jeremiah 1:5 AMP Before I form you in the womb I knew you, before I consecrated you, I appointed you a prophet to the nations

Your purpose in life is as unique as your fingerprints on your hands. Look at your hands, you have more than one fingerprint. Why? because you ten fingers.

Fingerprint Facts:

1. No two people have the same fingerprints, not even identical twins
2. The exact design of fingerprints is influenced by the environment in the womb, not by your genes
3. Fingerprints don’t change with age or growth.
4. Fingerprints are formed seven months after conception, starting out like hair follicles.
5. Fingerprints can be used to replace passwords, and ID cards, entry into computers, and buildings.
6. Each finger has a unique print, and there are usually related patterns between the pointer and the middle finger

Point 1: God designed you with more than one purposes in life.

Point 2: God’s purposes are unique, reflecting traces of His presence throughout our lives. God’s GPS guides us through life’s crooked paths, curves, U-turns, and stops, directing us back to the right path towards His plans for our lives. His roadmap steers and prompts us to stay on course for His purpose.

Point 3: God used just one person walking in his purpose to make a significant impact on humanity, shaping our very existence. History demonstrates (Just One Touch) made a difference.

Point 4: Just One Touch impacted humanity

Adam - Just One Touch from One Man Gods Perfect Plan

Noah - His ark was the carrier through which God preserve all of humanity.

Abraham, Just One Touch from God, a new nation was born through one man.

God will equip you for His purpose, but we must have open hearts to hear His instructions. Abraham ‘s instructions?

1. Leave your country
2. Leave your people
3. Leave your father’s family
4. Go to a country

Abraham's life required him to listen to His instructions to fulfill his purpose. This journey took Abraham out of his comfort zone, demonstrating that walking in God's purpose is not an easy road, but it is essential for following His divine plan.

Exodus 2 - Just One Touch from God a little slave boy drawn out of a river becomes the prince of Egypt, leads the Israelites to the promised land, on a 40-year journey. God revealed His purposes in Mosses life to lead the people, be obedient to Godly instructions. When Mosses was outside of his comfort zone God was with Him.

Point 5: God sent Jesus A big brother perfect example for us.

One touch, one encounter from Jesus, changed many lives in the Bible. In the Old Testament, God worked through men; in the New Testament, God sent our big brother Jesus the example and He left us with the Holy Spirit.

Point 6: God made us just like Jesus, He gave us the Holy Spirit to Help us walk out our God given purposes

Point 7: Identify the hidden obstacles to God's purpose in your life.

1. Fear: Don’t let the fear of the unknown stop you from fulfilling God’s purpose with your Touch

2. Know Gods voice: Keep your heart ears open to God’s voice of instructions.

3. Noises in life: Don’t allow the noises of the world such as (social media, TV shows, sports, electronics, radio) prevent you from pursuing God’s purpose.

4. Know God’s Purpose: It’s not about you; it’s about God’s purposes in your life.
