This Week's Bulletin
Find out what's happening in the next couple of weeks!
https://sbcflint.org/this-weeks-bulletin/Lessons we can learn during "Bad-to-worse days."
1) They should deepen our dependence on God.
1 Peter 5:6-7 - “Humble yourselves (by turning to God in dependence), therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.” Philippians 4:5-6 - “Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”
2) They can teach us patience.
James 1:2-4: “Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith (testing whether you turn to God or away from him) produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”
3) They can increase our wisdom.
