(Hebrews 12:1 NLT) Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.

(1 Kings 19:19 NLT) So Elijah went and found Elisha son of Shaphat plowing a field (obscurity). There were twelve teams of oxen in the field, and Elisha was plowing with the twelfth team. Elijah went over to him and threw his cloak across his shoulders and then walked away.

• Learn to recognize and respond to God's voice.

• At some point you have to get up and do something.

Move from inspiration to participation.

Faith is when what I see doesn't match what God spoke.

(2 Corinthians 4:18 NLT) So we don't look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.
• 3. “Don’t base your life on the seen but the unseen.”

(Hebrews 11:1 NLT) Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.
