(Hebrews 12:1 NLT) Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.
What do you do when God asks something of you that is outside of your comfort zone?
God is actively trying to meet with you.
• Don't miss your moment with God.
• God moments often seem impossible!

(Luke 1:31-34 NLT) You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus. He will be very great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David. And he will reign over Israel forever; his Kingdom will never end!" -- Mary asked the angel, "But how can this happen? I am a virgin."

(Mark 10:27 NLT) Jesus looked at them intently and said, "Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But not with God. Everything is possible with God."
• When God moments come, just say yes.

(Luke 1:38 NLT) Mary responded, "I am the Lord's servant. May everything you have said about me come true." And then the angel left her.
Our hope must have more weight than our questions.

(Mark 5:36 NLT) ... Jesus overheard them and said to Jairus, "Don't be afraid. Just have faith."

(John 2:5 NLT) (Jesus) ... his mother told the servants, "Do whatever he tells you."
1. Stay connected to God.

(Luke 2:19 NLT) but Mary kept all these things in her heart and thought about them often.

(John 15:5 NLT) "Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.
2. Stay connected to your purpose.

(Luke 2:34-35 NLT) Then Simeon blessed them, and he said to Mary, the baby's mother, "This child is destined to cause many in Israel to fall, but he will be a joy to many others. He has been sent as a sign from God, but many will oppose him. As a result, the deepest thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. And a sword will pierce your very soul."
3. Stay connected to people that encourage you.

(Luke 1:56 NLT) Mary stayed with Elizabeth about three months...

(Hebrews 10:23-25 NLT) Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.
4. Stay connected to the bigger picture.

(James 4:14 NLT) ... Your life is like the morning fog--it's here a little while, then it's gone.

(1 John 5:11-13 NLT) And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God's Son does not have life. I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life.
