Summer XP

We’re excited to head into another year of Summer XP at Miller Elementary School! This year, we’re planning to share the best of Summer XP with students for three evenings: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, June 4-6. Each night will be filled with dinner, music, Bible stories, activities, and games. We’re looking for adults and teens who are excited to serve, and we’re looking for students entering Kindergarten through 5th grade who are excited to participate. Registration is now open on our website for volunteers and participants. Please contact Pastor Kristin with any questions.

Youth Group

Gatherings: Students in grades 6-12 are invited to join us on Wednesday evenings throughout the semester for a time of snacks, getting to know other students, Bible study, and small group. We meet from 6:30-8:00pm each Wednesday in the Life Center. Doors open at 6pm each week for those who would like to arrive early. Contact Pastor Kristin or Pastor Chuck with questions.

Combined Book Club

We are postponing our combined book discussion. (As the Wager ran up against delays to its original schedule for unforeseen reasons… so have we.) The discussion will be later this summer, most likely in July – we will share the exact date asap.

Pickle Ball

Pickle ball is now available at ECC!! If you’ve never played, now’s the time to get involved! We’ll teach you how to play. We have 3 courts and plenty of spare paddles and game balls. Just be sure to wear tennis shoes. We’re open to all levels of play and especially looking forward to making new friends. We’ll limit play to members and attenders of ECC and their invited guest. If you would like to get an email with schedule updates let us know here.

Whether expecting your first or sending your last off to college, MOPS/MOMSNext has a place for you! MOPS/MOMSNext exists to nurture a community that allows each mom to grow as an individual and in relationships with her family, other moms, and Jesus. Our next meeting is May 14 from 9:30-11:30am. MOPS/MOMSNext is open to any mom in the community, so we encourage you to invite neighbors and friends who might be looking for a place to connect!

Children’s Ministry

Our nursery, preschool, and kindergarten children meet in the main building, down the hall from our worship space. You can check in for these classes at the west entrance table. Our 1st-5th grade students begin in worship with their families. Midway through our worship service, they are invited to a class in the Life Center building.

Serving Opportunities

So many people faithfully serve up front and behind the scenes every week here at ECC—and we are thankful! Finding a place to serve is an important way to support and engage our mission. If you are looking for a way to get more involved in the ministry and mission of ECC, you can let us know here. Here are a couple of the current areas looking for more people to serve: If you enjoy making outdoor areas look beautiful including our Rain Garden and Biblical Herb Garden, ECC has several landscaped areas that are maintained by ECC attenders, and we are looking for more volunteers. It is roughly a twice-a-month commitment to weed and maintain an adopted landscaped area. If you are interested in adopting one or more of these landscape areas, please email Pastor Kurt for more information or sign up on our Serve page.

Give Online

You can give your offerings here. You can also give to special areas by commenting in the memo line.

Care Team

As Care Team members, our hope is to care for and support those who are hurting during challenging times. We will listen, be present with you, and pray for you. Please respond below to have one of our referrals coordinators contact you.
UNSTUCK: That They Might Be with Him
Seventh Sunday of Easter
Pastor Stacey Littlefield
Questions to ponder.
Reflecting on the idea of being "unstuck" and becoming more like Jesus, share a brief story or experience from your life where you felt a significant moment of growth or transformation in your faith journey. What was the situation, and how did it impact you?
Questions to ponder.
The sermon talks about the importance of apprenticeship to Jesus. What does it mean to you to be an apprentice of Jesus? How does this concept differ from simply being a student or follower?
Questions to ponder.
The pastor mentions the ECC Rule of Life and its Five Distinctives, with one of them being Apprenticeship. How do you currently engage with the concept of apprenticeship in your spiritual life? Are there specific practices or habits you've adopted to grow in this area?
A Question to Ponder.
The sermon emphasizes the importance of community in the transformational process. How have you experienced the role of community in your own journey of faith and transformation? How can we support and encourage one another in becoming more like Jesus?
A Question to Ponder.
The pastor discusses the diversity among Jesus' first disciples and how they were called to be on the same team despite their differences. How can we embrace diversity and unity within our community as we pursue transformation together? What challenges or opportunities do you see in this?
Seventh Sunday of Easter
O God, the King of glory, you have exalted your only Son Jesus Christ with great triumph to your kingdom in heaven: Do not leave us comfortless, but send us your Holy Spirit to strengthen us, and exalt us to that place where our Savior Christ has gone before; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, in glory everlasting. Amen.
