Children’s Ministry

Our nursery, preschool, and kindergarten children meet in the main building, down the hall from our worship space. You can check in for these classes at the west entrance table. Our 1st-5th grade students begin in worship with their families. Midway through our worship service, they are invited to a class in the Life Center building.

Serving Opportunities

So many people faithfully serve up front and behind the scenes every week here at ECC—and we are thankful! Finding a place to serve is an important way to support and engage our mission. If you are looking for a way to get more involved in the ministry and mission of ECC, you can let us know here. Here are a couple of the current areas looking for more people to serve: If you enjoy making outdoor areas look beautiful including our Rain Garden and Biblical Herb Garden, ECC has several landscaped areas that are maintained by ECC attenders, and we are looking for more volunteers. It is roughly a twice-a-month commitment to weed and maintain an adopted landscaped area. If you are interested in adopting one or more of these landscape areas, please email Pastor Kurt for more information or sign up on our Serve page.

UNSTUCK: That They Might Be with Him
Seventh Sunday of Easter
Pastor Stacey Littlefield
Questions to ponder.
Reflecting on the idea of being "unstuck" and becoming more like Jesus, share a brief story or experience from your life where you felt a significant moment of growth or transformation in your faith journey. What was the situation, and how did it impact you?
Questions to ponder.
The sermon talks about the importance of apprenticeship to Jesus. What does it mean to you to be an apprentice of Jesus? How does this concept differ from simply being a student or follower?
Questions to ponder.
The pastor mentions the ECC Rule of Life and its Five Distinctives, with one of them being Apprenticeship. How do you currently engage with the concept of apprenticeship in your spiritual life? Are there specific practices or habits you've adopted to grow in this area?
A Question to Ponder.
The sermon emphasizes the importance of community in the transformational process. How have you experienced the role of community in your own journey of faith and transformation? How can we support and encourage one another in becoming more like Jesus?
A Question to Ponder.
The pastor discusses the diversity among Jesus' first disciples and how they were called to be on the same team despite their differences. How can we embrace diversity and unity within our community as we pursue transformation together? What challenges or opportunities do you see in this?
Seventh Sunday of Easter
O God, the King of glory, you have exalted your only Son Jesus Christ with great triumph to your kingdom in heaven: Do not leave us comfortless, but send us your Holy Spirit to strengthen us, and exalt us to that place where our Savior Christ has gone before; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, in glory everlasting. Amen.
