How do you handle what happened last week?

Prophetic words are meant to enliven and enlarge your faith.

We need to have a Biblical perspective regarding prophecy.

All words of Prophecy must be weighed against the Word, brought before wise council, and then accepted or rejected according to their merit.

Weighing against the Word: Does it do what Prophecy is supposed to do?

Does it edify?

Does it line up with the Word?

The biggest danger related to prophecy is that we don’t know enough of the Bible to test it, trust it, and enact it in our lives.

Does it glorify Jesus?

Does it produce good fruit in our lives?

Does it set us free with peace and confidence?

Does it bring fresh life?

A danger in the prophetic is that we can start running after prophetic words instead of cultivating our own ability to hear from God.

God wants us to hear Him, but he ALSO wants us to take the action that He calls us to!

He spoke a powerful word about the expansion of LifeGroups.

He talked about transplanting young people into ministry.

God has called us to raise and release men and women to spread the Gospel and build the Kingdom.

We have been a hospital, a place to receive healing, health, and wholeness.

He spoke about the return of prodigals. That those who have been a part of us in the past would return and He called us to embrace them all over again.

He spoke of Two Wells, one of Healing and one of Salvation.

He said that all of us have this call to be Train Conductors.

We aren’t here to make converts, we are here to BE and MAKE disciples.

We have to step up and live out our faith, it is the only loving thing to do!
