Are you wanting to grow in your Spiritual journey?

Would you like to get to know others better? The River Church is committed to helping others grow in their faith and developing deeper connections with others. Our small groups are a great way to do this. We have groups for all ages and stages of life. They meet at different days and times to help provide an opportunity that can fit your schedule.

We are looking to grow our groups. If you are interested in joining a new group in 2023 please contact Leslie Stone, our Director of Small Groups & Connections at leslie@hittheriver.com

Upcoming Events

May 4th - Bible Skills Mini Camp
On May 4 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, all K-5th Graders are invited to The River for a morning of learning how to navigate God's Word and how to study Scripture. Kids will dive deep in to the most amazing book ever and will learn just how important it is to regularly read the Bible. Activities will include music, crafts, high-energy games, discussion times, and more.
This is an entirely free event, but you will have the option to donate $12 during registration to provide a Bible to a child around the world who does not have one via World Vision. Kids are encouraged to bring their personal Bibles, and if they don't have one, we will give them one as our gift!‍

May 9th - Mobile Blood Drive
There will be a mobile blood drive here at The River from 2:30 - 6:30 p.m. Sign up by going to donortime.com. For questions email info@HitTheRiver.com.

May 12th - Child Dedication
On Sunday, May 12th, we will be having a baby/child dedication during both of our services (9:30am or 11:00am). If you have never publicly declared your commitment to raising your child to become a Christ follower than we want to encourage you to sign up at HitTheRiver.com/Events.

May 14th - River 101
Interested in learning more about The River Church? Pastor Brad will be teaching our River 101 class here at The River Church on Tuesday, May 14th from 6:15 - 8:30 p.m. This is a great way to learn what we believe, how we operate, and where we’re heading. If you are interested in membership, this class is a prerequisite. Register at HitTheRiver.com/Event or on the Church Center app.

May 19th - River Youth Family Potluck
All River Youth students and their entire families are invited to join us for our first Family Potluck of the summer! This includes current River Youth students, incoming 6th graders, and graduating seniors. We will be welcoming our new 6th graders into the ministry and honoring our seniors as they are on their way to their next adventures! Sign up at HitTheRiver.com/Events. We are providing the meat and drinks and ask that girl students bring a dessert and guy students bring a side dish.

July 15 - 18th - V.B.S. Breaker Rock Beach
Your kids are invited to join us for an exciting week of learning about God's rock solid truth in a world of shifting sands. All potty-trained 3 year olds - 5th graders are invited to Breaker Rock Beach! Spots are limited, so register your kids today! If you would like to purchase VBS t-shirts for your children to wear during the week, please provide their sizes during registration. Shirts are $12/shirt. Families wishing to purchase shirts must register for Vacation Bible School by June 5. Sign up at HitTheRiver.com/Events.

Volunteers needed for VBS!
Join us for Breaker Rock Beach on July 15 - 18 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm as we learn that God's truth never changes! He is the Rock that we can build our lives on and we will not be shaken! We are looking for donated items for V.B.S. 2024
The craft team is looking for large empty mouthwash bottles, sports drink bottles, vinegar bottles or honey bottles. All bottles must be clear and not colored. If you have some at home, please bring them in and drop them off near the River Kids check-in station. Thank you for your help!
