Sermon Outline:

1. Matthew's Version

2. Luke's Version

3. Salvation

4. Invitation

5. More Room

1. Think of someone to invite into God's Kingdom.

2. Pray about how God wants you to invite them.

3. Take proactive steps to invite them.

1. In the parable of the great banquet, what do you think Jesus is trying to convey about the kingdom of God and the invitation to salvation?

2. The guests in the parable make excuses for not attending the banquet. What might these excuses be in our lives today? How might our own excuses be overcome in order to accept God's invitation?

3. The master of the house sends his servant to invite those who are often overlooked or marginalized. What does this teach us about God's inclusivity and the importance of reaching out to all people?

4. How does this weekend's parable challenge our perspectives on social status, privilege, and humility?

5. Luke 14:15-24 ends with the master's house being filled with guests and there is still room! What does this suggest about the nature of God's invitation?
