In Jewish culture, you got your IDENTITY from your FAMILY.
Jesus didn’t just come forgive us of our sins. He came to give us a new identity.
The word “Authority” = Out of the ORIGINAL stuff.
Time WITH God, produces authority FROM God.
Jesus modeled to us that authority flows from submission.
When the DEMONS know who we are, we better know WHOSE we are.
Time with God, produces DIRECTION from God.
Time with God produces a CLARITY of our PURPOSE.
