Raise your hand if you’ve heard of Taylor Swift?
Taylor was Time Magazine’s 2023 Person of the year.

Jesus goes on his resurrection appearance tour.
It starts on Easter Sunday and goes for 40 days.

What does that tell us?
A resurrected body is different than a physical body.

Jesus asked the Ten, "Why are you troubled?"
It’s what death does.

Then Jesus asks, "Why do doubts rise in your minds?"
Today we are beginning a four-week series called, "Four People Who Doubted God."

Our first example is a group of people.
Jesus’ ten apostles.

Doubt Defined.
A state of uncertainty.

The wavering of two opinions or thoughts.

Some people think all doubt is unbelief.
It’s not. Most of it is uncertainty.

Other people think all doubt is a sin.
No, it’s not, but doubt, like temptation, can lead us to sin.

What lesson concerning doubt are the disciples teaching us today? Doubt loses it’s strength through amazement.

What lesson concerning doubt is Jesus teaching us today?
Doubt loses it’s grip when you take him at his word.

Do you believe Jesus is the resurrection and the life?
I hope you do. If you doubt that right now. I hope someday you will believe.

Three Questions
Do you see why Jesus had to suffer and die?
Will you believe in God even though you experience pain & suffering?
Are you troubled?

Many have doubted God.
Make sure your doubts don’t lead you away from God. Make your doubts drive you to God.
