• Growing into salvation isn't “earning it,” but maturing into it
• Too many Christians stop after the salvation event (or creep forward)

• Cornerstone: the first stone set in the construction of a masonry foundation determining the position of the entire structure with which all other stones are set in reference to
• Our lives are to be aligned to Jesus as revealed in His Word

• The message of Jesus isn’t cute, easy, or fun and doesn't “play nice”

• Jesus is either our Savior (fully God), or he’s a complete lunatic!
• But for those of us who’ve accepted the Gospel, He’s our joy!

• Humans often find their like-minded tribe/brotherhood

• We are not as useful, impactful, or beautiful when we choose to be disconnected from other believers
• It’s painful to be shaped/ground down and fuzed to others (church)
• God is painstakingly refining/fitting us together; are you resisting?
• If you’ve received His eternal mercy, then be joined to “your people!”
