PILATE DIDN’T CARE IF JESUS CLAIMED TO BE GOD! Who cares….we are Romans and we are not into your spiritual squabbles. After all..CAESAR is god.
But when Pilate was told that Jesus claimed to be KING, Rome now has a problem.
There is only one King and that is Caesar.
You claim that and you die!!!

HOW TO CHOOSE THE WRONG SAVIOR
PILATE CHOSE POORLY:
1. He Knew the right TITLE and TESTIMONY of Jesus
2. But, he feared the CROWD more than CHRIST
3. He ultimately chose the SAFE WAY over the RIGHT WAY.

When it comes to Jesus’ claim to be God, no one is allowed to remain INDIFFERENT.
THE CROWD CHOSE POORLY:
1. They knew the right TITLE and TESTIMONY of Jesus
2. They chose their CULTURE over CHRIST
3. They chose what seemed BEST for them in the MOMENT

Jesus is offering something ETERNAL, but many choose an “IN THE MOMENT” SAVIOR.
BARABBAS WAS NOT GIVEN A CHOICE, BUT WAS SHOWN GRACE AND MERCY.
1. He knew that he was GUILTY
2. He had the INNOCENT take his PUNISHMENT
3. He walked away a FREE MAN

The SAVIOR we CHOOSE, the SAVIOR we SURRENDER to will either be a TEMPORARY FIX to life’s problems or a KING who will rule with authority and power over our lives.
He will let us MANAGE our lives for him but we have been BOUGHT with a PRICE.
