Easter Sunday: The King Victorious | March 31, 2024
At 3:00pm on April 3rd in the year 33AD Jesus of Nazareth was declared dead following a public execution. Three days later reports began to spread that he had been seen alive again. Why has this event changed everything about life for so many people even centuries after it happened? Join us this Easter Sunday as we celebrate and question the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Two Things we need to understand Easter:
#1 The sudden shock of a strangely transformed and very much alive Jesus of Nazareth.

Mary Jesus’ mother & Joanna… report
Mary Magdalene… They have stolen the body..
Peter… marvels?
John… believes? but doesn’t understand
Thomas… I want an autopsy!

One by one they give there lives rather than change their testimony:
Steven… stoned to death for saying Jesus is alive…
Saul/Paul... organizes the murder of Steven, Sees Jesus. Repeatedly imprisoned.
James, Jesus brother… led the first Church in Jerusalem until finally, executed 3o years later, 62 AD.
