NEW TO REAL LIFE?

Looking to get connected? Have questions?
https://reallifechurchkc.com/new
Today we going break some rules and expectations and decide what type of CHURCH do you want to be?
JESUS NOTICES WHO GETS THE HONOR.
BE HUMBLE OR BE HUMBLED.
It’s not TRUE CHARITY if everyone who comes eventually returns the favor!

They WROTE PEOPLE OFF because it they will never REPAY. It would cost them something.
You can either gamble on being REPAID by those you keep close, or you serve the least of these and you will be REPAID by GOD.
JESUS WILL COVER THE TAB.
What this person is saying is, “Jesus isn’t it going to be “BLESSED for the all the righteous Jews who will eat at the feat in the Kingdom of God.”
They love themselves so much that they couldn’t humble themselves to SIT at the MASTER’s TABLE.
BRING IN THOSE WHO DIDN’T EVEN GET AN INVITATION!

WHAT TYPE OF CHURCH DO YOU WANT TO BE?

1. Been to a Church full fo Pharisees?

2. Been to a Church Full of UNWORTHY PEOPLE?

3. Been to a Church Full of SERVANTS?

We are a Church full of UNWORTHY SERVANTS who humbly follow God and GO OUT and BRING AND COMPEL people to come until the Father’s House is Full.
Talk It Over

1. Personal Reflection: How do you currently feel about sharing your faith with others, especially in the context of our world today? What are some challenges you face in doing so?

2. Understanding the Passage: Read Luke 14:1-24. What do you think Jesus was trying to convey through the story of the Great Banquet? How does it relate to our attitudes towards God and others?

3. Identifying Attitudes: Reflect on the attitudes of the Pharisees in the passage. How can we sometimes exhibit similar attitudes in our own lives and potentially write people off, especially when it comes to inviting others to know Christ?

4. Examining Excuses: Discuss the excuses made by those invited to the banquet. Have you ever made excuses in your own spiritual journey? What do these excuses reveal about our priorities and perspectives?

5. Church Culture: Have you ever experienced a church environment that resembled the attitudes of the Pharisees? How did it make you feel, and what impact did it have on your faith?

6. God's Invitation: Reflect on the significance of God's invitation to the banquet being extended to the poor, crippled, blind, and lame. How does this challenge our notions of worthiness and deservingness?

7. Identifying with Characters: Which character from the story - Pharisees, Unworthy, Servant - do you most identify with at this moment in your life? Why?

8. Being a Servant: How can we adopt the role of a servant in our interactions with others, especially when it comes to sharing the message of Christ's love?

9. Compelling Others: Share a personal testimony of how Christ has made a difference in your life. How can we use our own experiences to compel others to come to know Him?

10. Application to Today: How can we embody the principles discussed in the sermon as we approach Easter and the opportunity to invite others to experience the love of Christ? What practical steps can we take individually and as a group?
