1. How do you understand what "freedom" is? What has informed your definition of the concept?

2. What do you think Luke 13:10-17 reveals about Jesus' compassion and his prioritization of helping those in bondage, regardless of societal norms & expectations?

3. The religious leaders criticize Jesus for healing on the Sabbath. In doing so, they argue that this woman should have spent more time in bondage. What are they missing about the freedom God offers us?

4. How does Jesus respond to their criticism?

5. How does the woman healed use the freedom she's been given?

6. What has Jesus already freed you from?

7. How can you use the freedom in Christ you've been given to take up your calling?
