The Gospel Reframes Everything

The Gospel Reframes Everything

Today's message for Sunday, Feb. 25 takes a look at reframing helps you see your life and thoughts in an unfiltered reality - to see your life and faith in perspective and to live in the truth, not in the lies that the enemy, your flesh, or the world told you.

Reframing - the process of shifting your perspective by replacing negative or flawed thought patterns with more realistic and positive ones.

Reframing doesn’t change the circumstance, but it helps you see the bigger picture.

The Gospel reframes everything.

Good News changes your prayer life.

“It has been found that 12 minutes of daily focused prayer over an 8 week period can change the brain to such an extent that it can be measured on a brain scan. This type of prayer increases activity in brain areas associated with social interaction, compassion, and sensitivity to others. It also increases frontal lobe activity as focus and intentionality increase.”
- Dr. Caroline Leaf (communication pathologist and cognitive neuroscientist)

Live No Lies Resourcs

This week's practice is to meditate on three questions: - What in my life right now in my relationships or circumstances do I struggle to see the positive or good? Remember: You can’t control what happens to you, but you can control how you frame it. The way you frame it will dictate how you respond and behave. - What are some ways you could reframe your circumstances that would be the most positive, life building, God-honoring, mutually edifying way for you to approach this situation? - How could God use your circumstance for His glory and your good?
