EVANGELISM IS EASY
I get to take a lot of people out on outreach and the most common feedback is "wow, this is way easier than I thought."
Why is that the response? Because evangelism in easy in the presence of God.

1. The Call
- We are following him today and he is doing the same thing...

- This is the great commission, no the great suggestion.

- The cost in America is different from other places in the world today.

SIX LIES WE BELIEVE ABOUT EVANGELISM
1. Evangelism is not for me...You are right, it is for others that don't know Jesus yet.
2. I don't evangelize because it's not my personality...It's no longer you who live but Christ who lives in you.
3. I'm not a street evangelist...You may never share about Jesus in the middle of a street (that could be dangerous) but you are called to be a fulltime Christian everywhere you go.
"We are all called to share, not just a select few."
"It's the evangelist's job to equip you to share your faith."
- We don't do witnessing, we are witnesses!
4. I'm not gifted... If you're a believer you have been given the greatest gift of all the Holy Spirit.
5. I just don't like pushing my beliefs on people... Your silence is pushing them to hell.
- We are sharing good news and preaching people out of condemnation into life in Christ.
- It's not if you don't believe you're condemned. It's you're condemned please believe.

6. I'm just too fearful...God did not give you spirit of fear.
"When I sense fear I get excited because I know something great is about to happen. Fear is an invitation to crush hell."
Let's look at Matthew 9:35-38
1. He saw the Crowd as they really were "Harassed and Helpless"

- You can't always believe what you see at first. People are ready for Jesus.

3. He saw that the laborers were few.
- As a farm kid I love that He said Laborers not superstar or celebrity Christian's.
- Many Christians have become complacent with the gospel and need to understand that if we do the work to share the gospel people will be saved.

4. Pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers.
- This is a prayer we must pray, but we can only pray it honestly if we pray with an ear open to hearing Him tell us, "You go into the harvest."
- "We are to pray that the Lord would send out laborers: "Now the Greek is much more forcible, it is that he would push them forward, and thrust them out; it is the same word which is used for the expulsion of a devil from a man possessed. It takes great power to drive a devil out, it will need equal power from God to drive a minister out to his work." (Spurgeon)
- The Greek word is ekballō to cast out, drive out, to send out

SIX PRACTICAL WAYS YOU CAN SHARE YOUR FAITH THIS WEEK!

1. Ask somebody if you can pray for them.
2. Ask somebody if you can share you testimony with them.
3. Ask somebody if you could share the gospel with them.
4. Take your Bible to work and read it at Lunch in the break room or on your job site.
5. Invite your friends and co-workers to church or Belong.
6. One evening go to five houses in your neighborhood and ask to pray for them and share what Jesus has done for you.
