Respect God's Name

The name of God is a name that is to be honored and respected, yet many people (Christians included) use God’s name carelessly. God’s name is associated with His identity and by His name, God has revealed to us the depth of His character. God desires that we respect His Name in our words and in our walk in life. Learning to respect God’s name will help us to honor God in the words we speak and the life we live. --- Many people are looking for a life of hope, freedom, and blessing. The law of God is often viewed as a list of do’s and don’ts, but it is actually God’s guide for us to experience a life of freedom filled with blessing. The ten commandments are not only God’s code of conduct for a moral life, but they help us see our need for Jesus and show us how we can live a life filled with hope.
