Today's Message: "Something Happened to Peter"

There's no doubt about it. Something happens when we begin to trust Jesus: He changes us from the inside out. Just watch what happens to Peter...

MESSAGE NOTES

1. What elements of your backstory have the makings for an NFL Pregame interview?

2. It may not be fun to think about, but what are some of the moments of your life where you've demonstrated a shallow faith or a denial of Jesus?

3. How is Jesus using those past regrets to form you into the version of yourself He designed you to be?

4. Has God ever orchestrated a moment of opportunity for you to be bold in your faith? How did you respond?

5. How would you feel if you were in Peter's shoes, walking into the Jewish Court the day after experiencing God's healing of the lame man in the name and power of Jesus?

6. How will you use the story of Peter to embolden your God walk?

7. Can you imagine the positive influence you can be for others as they witness you stepping up your level of boldness in your faith? What does that look like? To your friends? Your family? Your colleagues? Your community?

REFLECTING & RESPONDING

• Head. What do I learn about God from this passage? About myself? Others?

• Heart. What is God speaking to my heart through this passage?

• Hands. What is God calling me to do through this passage?
