5. Listen to Him!

1. Reflect on what you use to escape from the world or distract from your problems.

2. Reflect on any means of escape that may have too strong of a hold on you.

3. Pray that God would give you what is needed to pursue the call he's placed on your life.

1. Moses and Elijah, representing the Law and the Prophets, appear with Jesus during the transfiguration. What do you believe is the significance of their presence?

2. Why do you think Peter asked to build shelters for Jesus, Moses and Elijah and to stay on the mountain?

3. What do you think Luke is referring to when he talks about "Jesus' exodus?"

4. In what ways do you "escape" from the world?

5. How can "escaping" be helpful? When does it become unhelpful?

6. What do you think God is calling you toward this year?
