The Biblical Call to Do Justice. Justice and confronting injustice is not just a social or political matter, but a theological one. It is the Bible that calls us to pursue justice and the Bible that calls us to oppose racism, sexism and all forms of isms as we confront injustice.

We are now half way into our series “Justice or Just Us”, and, we are just two and a half weeks away from Ash Wednesday (February 14) which is the beginning of Lent. We began by talking about justice as an essential part of what it means to be a follower, a disciple of Jesus.
We find that our love for God and our acceptance of God’s love for us grows through acts of worship and devotion. We also find that our love for our neighbors and our acceptance of their love for us grows as we engage in acts of compassion and justice. Today, January 28, we explore the biblical understanding of justice.
